Poster Analysis Part 1

The first poster is of the boy pop group Big Bang has all of the members looking depressed. You can notice this by their facial expressions especially the one with the orange hair. In this poster you can't see the name of their album. Although, fans would probably be able to tell what album this poster is being promoted towards by the clothes they're wearing. The text in the centre of the poster is of their band name which is in bold text. Considering their band name being "Big Bang" making the text to be in all caps makes a lot of sense. I personally don't think that the text is taking too much of our attention. However, it is eye grabbing. Now because there is no album title or date of when this poster is available for purchase I'm guessing that this poster is not for promoting an album but the members of the band instead. Back to my first point of the group looking depressed. From one perspective of looking at the poster you can assume they look depressed. At the same time from another perspective you can also infer that the way the poster and images is styled out is refreshing. It gives you a sense of lifestyle. So in particular it could attract two different types of audiences. The images shots are really clear and of high quality.

The second poster is of a girl pop group Apink. In this particular poster the girls are posing in a different way forms and shape. Their facial expressions look more bubbly and fun. It looks really playful so it's extravagant and cool. At the bottom of the poster you can notice the name of all of the band members on the left to the band name. And on the right to the band name you can see the title of the album "LUV". This poster is very simple and affective. It gives you clear shots of these beautiful girls and their names, band name and album name. This poster will be appealing to many boys as well as girls. This style that Apink brings is very Uni like.
