Media Language

How are you planning to use filming and editing techniques/framing/lighting etc. to convey meaning?

It will be fast paste because my target audience group are students and a lot of the time especially now in 2016 students really like fast paste cuts. All I'll be doing is making all of the footage match on action with clean cutaways. Also, natural lighting is essential because it looks far better than artificial lighting. It's a subjective view but I personally feel that I want everything to be natural besides the night scene as obviously then we need external lights and smoke etc. The natural lighting represents youth and school life. Also, it connotes obstacles that can appear anytime as it's natural. It's something that we certainly do not know when can come but it does.

Are there any signs or symbols present that help to create meaning for your audience? If so, explain their significance.

The narrative explains a lot visually and lyrically what is being said is so powerful because it's stating specific bits that no one really picks on at first due to them not really taking consideration of the bigger picture. Other than that emotions and body movement of the rapper explains how frustrating bullying is and how it should not be tolerated at all.

Can you give any examples of parts of your video that will have particular connotations?

Again the narrative is pretty straightforward as you see two girls come to a classroom dislike what they see and bullying starts to happen. The rapper emotionally frustrated with bullying as its such a silly thing to do and is expressing the emotions of the victims character lyrically. However, there is absolutely no particular signs that signify anything else.
